Welcome
I started this blog for several reasons. I need a place to write where I break a lifelong silence. I have been through severe childhood abuse and trauma. I am healing and working together with a psychotherapist. Now I know I am not alone. I need to write about my history, what I struggle with every morning, day, evening and night with different intensity. I have chosen to write anonymously, to give me space, not censor myself. Any names or locations mentioned on this blog will be fictitious, but the experiences of my reality true.
Here you will find all blog posts in English. Although I live in Sweden and write most of the time in Swedish, I will post in both languages on this blog. Much of the information and research about trauma and dissociation is in English-online and in books.

Through rough periods, it has been a tremendous help to be able to read about other people’s courage and ability to cope with the un-copeable. They have given me glimpses of hope. To the right you find links to blogs and websites with information, someone to talk to (mainly in Sweden) and stories.
